Visitors to Meigs County generated $11,750,727 in spending in 2024, representing a 11.06% increase from 2023, according to newly released data from Tourism Economics and the Tennessee Department of Tourist Development.Chamber president Kristy Kelly says: “Tourism plays a vital role in driving Meigs County’s economy, creating jobs, supporting local businesses, and ultimately saving taxpayers money.
